FAQ
Is the AI Halloween costume generator free?
The costume idea generator and all costume idea pages are free and unlimited right now. AI picture generation is opening soon: when it launches, everyone gets 2 free AI costume pictures per day with no account, and optional one-time credit packs for more.
Do I have to upload a photo?
No. You can upload a selfie for a look that keeps your face, or skip the photo and describe yourself in a few words (for example "tall guy with curly hair and glasses"). The AI then draws a person matching your description in the costume.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is sent to our image provider only to make your picture and is not stored by us after the generation finishes. We don't keep a gallery, we don't use your photo to train anything, and we never post anything publicly. See the Privacy page for details.
Can I make a couples costume with two photos?
Yes. Choose the Couple mode, upload one photo of each person, and pick a couples idea such as Salt & Pepper or Astronaut & Friendly Alien. Both people appear together in one picture.
Can I put my dog or cat in a costume?
Yes. Choose Pet mode and upload a clear photo of your pet. All pet costumes are comfortable, pet-safe looks like a pumpkin vest, bat wings or a lion mane.
Is it safe for kids?
Every costume in the list is family-friendly. We block requests for gore, nudity, "sexy" versions, weapons and hateful content, and we add safety instructions to every image request. Parents should only upload photos of their own children.
Can I ask for a character from a movie or game?
No. To respect trademarks and copyright, we only make original, generic costumes (a witch, an astronaut, a starship crew) and block requests that name branded characters. Describe the look instead of the name.
How does the free costume idea generator work?
Pick who the costume is for, the vibe and your budget. It mixes ideas from our hand-written costume list and gives you a short shopping list for each. It runs in your browser and never costs anything.
How do credits work?
One credit makes one AI costume picture. Credit packs are one-time payments, credits don't expire, and they are saved to this browser with a restore code you can copy to another device.
What if the picture doesn't look like me?
Use a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo with one face and no sunglasses. If a generation fails, your credit or free try is returned automatically.
Can I get a refund?
If something went wrong with a purchase, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right. Payments are processed by our reseller, who handles refunds and receipts.
Who owns the pictures?
You can use the pictures you make for personal purposes such as party planning and social posts. Images may carry an invisible AI watermark added by the model provider.
